AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PERRY COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO WE CARE DAY CARE, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Perry County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute up to Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) during calendar year 2001 from any available funds of the county such sums as it deems appropriate to We Care Day Care, Incorporated, a nongovernmental community action agency, to be used as matching funds in order that We Care Day Care, Incorporated, may receive funds from the state or federal government to contract for and fund the operation of any human services program in Perry County, including a rural transportation program.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
