AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE HATTIESBURG CIVIC CHORUS AND CONCERT ASSOCIATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to donate, from any available funds, a sum not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) during the 2001 calendar year, to the Hattiesburg Civic Chorus and Concert Association.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
