AN ACT TO NAME THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND COMMERCE BUREAU OF PLANT INDUSTRY BUILDING AT MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY IN STARKVILLE, MISSISSIPPI, THE ROBERT HORNE MCCARTY BUILDING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The building known as the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Bureau of Plant Industry Building on the campus of Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, shall be named the Robert Horne McCarty Building. The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce may erect a suitable memorial marker at a site on the premises of such building to be chosen with the approval of the survivors and family of Robert Horne McCarty.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
