House Bill 230

AN ACT TO DIRECT THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONSTRUCT AND RELOCATE A PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 315 IN PANOLA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall construct to department design standards, perform such reconstruction of existing highways as may be required and shall acquire by gift, purchase or eminent domain proceedings such property as may be necessary to relocate the following segment of highway:

Northern District - Panola County:

Mississippi Highway 315 beginning at its intersection with Mississippi Highway 6 and extending northerly to Mississippi Highway 35.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2001.
