Senate Bill NO. 2367

Amend by inserting the following paragraph after line 553:

(vi) If more than one (1) application is made for a certificate of need for nursing home facility beds available under this paragraph (q), and one of the applicants is a county-owned hospital located in the county where nursing home facility beds become available, the department shall give priority to the county-owned hospital located in the county where nursing home facility beds become available in granting the certificate of need.

TO PROVIDE THAT COUNTY-OWNED HOSPITALS SHALL HAVE PRIORITY IN APPLYING FOR CERTIFICATES OF NEED FOR NURSING FACILITY BEDS;
