AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

House Bill NO. 1324

By Senator(s) Chaney

AMEND by inserting the following after line 14 and renumbering subsequent sections accordingly:

SECTION *. (1) That portion of U.S. Interstate 20 within the State of Mississippi beginning at the Warren/Hinds County line and ending with the Mississippi/Louisiana state line shall be known as the "31st Infantry Division Memorial Highway."

(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching such highway.

FURTHER, amend the title by inserting the following after the semicolon on line 3:

TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF U.S. INTERSTATE 20 WITHIN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI AS THE "31ST INFANTRY DIVISION MEMORIAL HIGHWAY";
