REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

MR. PRESIDENT AND MR. SPEAKER:

We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:

S. B. No. 2966: Drinking water; revise membership of Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board and increase maximum loan amount (MSDH).

We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:

1. That the Senate concur in House Amendment No. 1 with the following exception(s):

 

AMEND line 37 by striking the word "Association" and inserting in lieu thereof: League

FURTHER AMEND lines 62 through 65 by striking the following

:

If the department contracts for facilities and staff to administer this section, the indirect cost rate paid under the contract shall not exceed the indirect cost rate charged by the department.

%%%% FURTHER AMEND line 68 by striking "The board shall" and insert in lieu thereof the following:

%%%%It is the intent of the Legislature that the board

%%%% FURTHER AMEND the title on lines 3 and 4 by striking "TO PROVIDE FOR AN INDIRECT COST RATE TO BE PAID FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES;"
