REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

MR. PRESIDENT AND MR. SPEAKER:

We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:

S. B. No. 2665: Unmarked vehicles; authorize use by Department of Marine Resources.

We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:

1. That the Senate concur in House Amendment No. 1 with the following exception(s):

 

AMEND on line 33 by inserting after the word "Economic" the words "and Community".

FURTHER amend on lines 33 and 34 by deleting the underlined language.

FURTHER amend on line 36 by inserting after the word "leased" the following: "by the Department of Finance and Administration for use"

FURTHER amend on line 39 by inserting after the comma the following: to one (1) vehicle owned or leased by the Executive Director of the Department of Mental Health,

FURTHER amend on lines 52 and 53 by deleting "Director of the Bureau of Fisheries and Wildlife of the Department of Wildlife Conservation" and inserting in lieu thereof: "Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks"

FURTHER amend the title on line 3 by inserting after the word "RESOURCES" the following: "THE CAPITOL POLICE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH"

2. That the House concur in the above exception(s).
