REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

MR. SPEAKER AND MR. PRESIDENT:

We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:

H. B. No. 503: Uniform Law Commission; clarify appointments.

We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:

1. That the House concur in Senate Amendment No. 1 with the following exception(s):

AMEND by striking Lines 11 through 15 in their entirety and by inserting in lieu thereof the following:

7-1-501. The Governor shall appoint as commissioners to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws three (3) members, in good standing, of The Mississippi * * * Bar. In addition to the Governor's appointees, the commission on uniform state laws shall consist of the following appointed commissioners * * * , all of whom shall be members, in good standing, of The Mississippi * * * Bar: a member of

AMEND FURTHER by striking Line 48 in its entirety and by inserting in lieu thereof "and after its passage."

2. That the Senate concur in the above exception(s).
