AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ACQUIRE LAND IN LOUISIANA FOR COUNTY PURPOSES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to lease, contract for the use of or otherwise acquire real or personal property in Louisiana for the purpose of promoting the safety, economy, health, welfare, economic development, transportation, common good of the citizens of Warren County and the surrounding area, industrial development and other general purposes of Warren County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
