AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WAYNE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, IN ITS DISCRETION, TO DONATE TO THE CITY OF WAYNESBORO, MISSISSIPPI, SUCH COUNTY-OWNED LANDS AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE PURPOSE OF LENGTHENING AND WIDENING AND OTHERWISE COMPLETING THE AIRPORT RUNWAY EXPANSION PROJECT FOR THE WAYNESBORO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Wayne County, Mississippi, is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to donate to the City of Waynesboro, Mississippi, such county-owned lands as may be necessary for the purpose of lengthening and widening the airport runway and otherwise completing the airport runway expansion project for the Waynesboro Municipal Airport.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
