AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF BILOXI TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE HURRICANE CAMILLE MEMORIAL PROJECT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to donate, from any available funds, a sum not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) during the calendar year 2000, to the Hurricane Camille Memorial Project.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
