AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI OFFICE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to donate, from any available funds, a sum of money not to exceed Seven Hundred Sixty Dollars ($760.00) during the calendar year 2000, to the University of Southern Mississippi Office of Community Service Learning.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
