AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NEWTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONVEY AND DONATE CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE BEULAH HUBBARD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CLUB, INC., OR TO SUCH OTHER NONPROFIT CIVIC ORGANIZATION AS THE BOARD CONSIDERS APPROPRIATE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Newton County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to convey and donate, to the Beulah Hubbard Community Development Club, Inc., a nonprofit civic organization, or to such other nonprofit civic organization as such board may consider appropriate, the following described real property:
Commence at the Northwest corner of the NE-1/4
of NW-1/4 of Section 36, Township 8 North, Range
12 East, Newton County, Mississippi; being the
Point of Beginning of the herein described land;
thence run North 89 degrees 44 minutes 21 seconds
East, 442.82 feet to the West right-of-way of
Hickory-Little Rock Road; thence run South 30
Degrees 54 minutes 19 seconds East, 372.19 feet
along said right-of-way; thence run South 84
degrees 15 minutes 53 seconds West, 330.43 feet;
thence run South 02 degrees 12 minutes 02 seconds
East, 200.00 feet; thence run South 84 degrees 15
minutes 53 seconds West, 314.49 feet; thence run
North 00 degrees 00 minutes 11 seconds East, 581.63
feet back to the point of beginning; being a part
of the NE-1/4 of NW-1/4 of Section 36, Township 8
North, Range 12 East, Newton County, Mississippi,
and containing 5.8 acres.
(2) The above described real property may be conveyed and donated by the Board of Supervisors of Newton County with such restrictions as such board may consider suitable and shall not require any consideration.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
