A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING MCADAMS HIGH SCHOOL BULLDOGS BASKETBALL TEAM FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING 1999-2000 SEASON.

WHEREAS, the McAdams High School Bulldogs Basketball Team finished the 1999-2000 season with an outstanding record of 27 wins and 9 losses; and

WHEREAS, many individual honors were bestowed upon players, including the naming of Kevin Mason to the All-State Tournament Team and the selection of Isaac Greenwood to the All-State Tournament Team and the Yazoo City Classic All-Tournament Team; and

WHEREAS, the Bulldogs have been superbly led and inspired by Head Coach Wilson Jackson, who has refined the players skills in execution; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of this Legislature to recognize and commend excellence, especially when evidenced by the youth of our state, who are its future:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That we do hereby commend and congratulate the McAdams High School Basketball Team and Coach Jackson for their outstanding 1999-2000 season and extend our heartiest wishes for success in all their future academic and athletic endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Head Coach Wilson Jackson and to members of the Capitol Press Corps.
