AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PANOLA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO USE THE PROCEEDS OF BONDS PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED AND SOLD IN THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $1,300,000.00 TO CONSTRUCT, ACQUIRE, ENLARGE, EXPAND, RENOVATE AND IMPROVE A BUILDING OR BUILDINGS FOR USE AS A MANUFACTURING FACILITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, which has authorized and sold General Obligation Industrial Taxable Bonds, Series 2000, dated April 1, 2000, in the principal amount of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00), for the purpose of acquiring, enlarging, expanding, renovating and improving a building for use as a manufacturing facility pursuant to Section 19-5-99, Mississippi Code of 1972, is authorized to use the proceeds of such bonds for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, enlarging, expanding, renovating and improving a building or buildings for use as a manufacturing facility.
SECTION 2. This act, without regard to any statute not referenced herein, applies to the One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,300,000.00) General Obligation Industrial Taxable Bonds, Series 2000, dated April 1, 2000, that were sold pursuant to resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Panola County, Mississippi, adopted on April 6, 2000, and were validated by validation judgment dated April 10, 2000, and shall be deemed to be full and complete authority for use of proceeds of bonds referenced herein. All powers necessary to be exercised in order to carry out the provisions of this act are hereby conferred.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
