AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ITS FACILITY IN TUNICA COUNTY AND THE PURCHASE OF NEW VEHICLES TO TRANSPORT STUDENTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute from any available county funds, an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during calendar year 2000, to the Institute of Community Services, Inc., to assist the Institute of Community Services, Inc., with the operation and maintenance of its Tunica County facility and to purchase new vehicles to be used to transport Headstart students from Tunica County to such facility.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
