AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BENTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE BENTON COUNTY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute to Benton County Development Association, Incorporated, out of any available funds of the county, a sum not to exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) during calendar year 2000, which monies may be expended for the purpose of providing an operating fund for such association.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
