AN ACT TO DESIGNATE A PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 7 AS THE "C.F. 'PAPPY' FRANKLIN MEMORIAL HIGHWAY"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) That portion of Mississippi Highway 7 beginning at the corporate limits of the City of Coffeeville and extending southerly to the Yalabousha County line shall be known as the "C.F. 'Pappy' Franklin Memorial Highway."

(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching that portion of Mississippi Highway 7 described in subsection (1) of this section.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
