AN ACT TO MAKE THE WARFIELD POINT COUNTY PARK IN WASHINGTON COUNTY A STATE PARK UNDER THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS; TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY TO DONATE THE WARFIELD POINT COUNTY PARK TO THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. There is established on the Warfield Point County Park area in Washington County a state park to be managed by the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks in accordance with its powers and duties under Section 55-3-33.
The Board of Supervisors of Washington County is authorized to donate the Warfield Point County Park to the state to be managed as a state park as provided in this section.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2000.
