Senate Concurrent Resolution 610

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE BUREAU OF BUILDING, GROUNDS AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION, TO STUDY AND PLAN A BUILDING EXPANSION STUDY FOR THE MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY BRANCH CAMPUS LOCATED IN MERIDIAN, MISSISSIPPI. 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management, Department of Finance and Administration, is authorized, in accordance with Chapter 529, General Laws of 1994, to study and plan a building expansion study for the Mississippi State University Branch Campus located in Meridian, Mississippi, to add classrooms for computers, distance learning, accounting, service laboratory, seminar style classrooms, electronic computer/video laboratory, lecture hall and office suites for East Mississippi Center for Educational Development; and further, to study and plan for technical equipment needs required for delivery of education services in the building expansion; that all expenses for the building expansion study shall be paid by the Department of Finance and Administration upon warrants drawn on State Treasury Revolving Fund No. 3901 designated as the "Capital Improvements Preplanning Fund."

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be given to the Governor; the Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management, Department of Finance and Administration; the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning; and Mississippi State University.
