AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF AMORY TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH AMORY GOLF CLUB, INCORPORATED, FOR THE OPERATION OF A GOLF COURSE AND OTHER RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ON MUNICIPALLY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Amory, Mississippi, are hereby authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to execute a lease agreement with Amory Golf Club, Incorporated, for the operation of a golf course and other recreational facilities by Amory Gulf Club, Incorporated, on certain real property owned by the municipality. Any lease agreements which have been executed by the governing authorities for such purposes with Amory Golf Club, Incorporated, prior to the effective date of this act are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
