AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY TO APPROPRIATE A SUM OF MONEY TO SUPPORT CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DE L'EPEE DEAF CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to appropriate out of any available county funds an amount not to exceed Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) during Fiscal Year 1996-1997 to support construction of a new De l'Epee Deaf Center.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
