AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONSTRUCT A HOSPITALITY STATION TO BE LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF U. S. HIGHWAY 49 AND U. S. HIGHWAY 61 IN COAHOMA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Subject to funding by the Legislature, the Mississippi Department of Transportation is hereby authorized to locate, design and construct a hospitality station, as provided by Section 65-31-1, Mississippi Code of 1972, to be located in the vicinity of the intersection of U. S. Highway 49 and U. S. Highway 61 in Coahoma County, Mississippi, which is approximately seventeen and two-tenths (17.2) miles north of Clarksdale, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1997.
