AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO CONVEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES. 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Department of Finance and Administration may convey to the Department of Transportation a certain parcel of property located in Hinds County, Mississippi, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the SW corner of Block "V" Industrial

Heights Subdivision, thence S 13 degrees 04 minutes

33 seconds W, along the East R.O.W. line of North

Mill Street, 460.07 feet to the point of beginning;

thence continue S 13 degrees 04 minutes 33 seconds

W along the East R.O.W. line of North Mill Street,

532.73 feet; thence S 81 degrees 57 minutes 06

seconds E, 45.45 feet; thence N 38 degrees 06

minutes 10 seconds E, 162.05 feet; thence N 60

degrees 16 minutes 54 seconds E, 78.72 feet;

thence N 75 degrees 04 minutes 48 seconds E,

182.91 feet; thence S 85 degrees 11 minutes 10

seconds E, 87.92 feet; thence N 48 degrees 18

minutes 51 seconds W, 220.65 feet; thence North,

169.88 feet; thence N 89 degrees 17 minutes 00

seconds W, 192.43 feet, to the point of beginning;

containing 2.54 acres, all being in the SW 1/4 of

Section 27, T 6 N, R 1 E, Hinds County, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
