Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DELETE THE PROVISION FOR THE DIVERSION OF CERTAIN SALES TAX REVENUES TO THE SPECIAL FUNDS TRANSFER FUND; TO REPEAL SECTION 4 OF CHAPTER 556, LAWS OF 2003, AS LAST AMENDED BY SECTION 5 OF CHAPTER 2, LAWS OF SECOND EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF 2005, WHICH CREATED THE SPECIAL FUNDS TRANSFER FUND; TO PROVIDE THAT THE LEGISLATURE SHALL APPROPRIATE SUFFICIENT FUNDS TO REPAY THE TORT CLAIMS FUND FOR THE AMOUNT THAT WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE BUDGET CONTINGENCY FUND IN 2003; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
