Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-33-19, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF "HOME" OR "HOMESTEAD" UNDER THE HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION LAW THE PORTION OF A BUILDING THAT IS LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES THAT IS USED SOLELY FOR THE RESIDENCE OF A FAMILY GROUP WHEN THE BUILDING IS OWNED BY THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY AND NOT MORE THAN 10 ROOMS IN THE BUILDING ARE RENTED TO TRANSIENT GUESTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
