Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 47-5-110, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDES THAT ANY COMMITMENTS TO ANY INSTITUTION OR FACILITY WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS SHALL BE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND AUTHORIZES THE DEPARTMENT TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY PRERELEASE PROGRAM; TO EXTEND THE DATE OF REPEAL ON THIS SECTION FROM JULY 1, 2007, TO JULY 1, 2008; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
