Title: AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS TO THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF MARINE RESOURCES FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES NECESSARY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE MARINE RESOURCES OF THIS STATE; TO PROVIDE THAT THE COMMISSION ON MARINE RESOURCES SHALL UTILIZE A PORTION OF THE FUNDS IT RECEIVES THAT ARE DERIVED FROM LEASE RENTALS OF TIDELANDS AND SUBMERGED LANDS TO PAY THE ANNUAL DEBT SERVICE ON SUCH BONDS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
