Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 41-7-191, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO DELETE THE REQUIREMENT FOR A CERTIFICATE OF NEED FOR EXTRACORPOREAL SHOCK WAVE LITHOTRIPSY SERVICES; TO INCREASE THE DISTANCE THAT HEALTH SERVICES MAY BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER FACILITY OR SITE WITHOUT REQUIRING A CERTIFICATE OF NEED; TO PROVIDE THAT A CERTIFICATE OF NEED IS REQUIRED FOR THE REOPENING OF A HEALTH CARE FACILITY THAT HAS BEEN WITHOUT A LICENSE FOR TWELVE MONTHS; TO EXEMPT FROM THE REQUIREMENT FOR A CERTIFICATE OF NEED THE REPLACEMENT OR RELOCATION OF A CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL SO LONG AS THE CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL COMPLIES WITH ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS REGARDING THE REPLACEMENT OR RELOCATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
