Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE FROM EIGHTEEN AND ONE-HALF TO TWENTY-ONE THE PERCENTAGE OF TOTAL SALES TAX REVENUE COLLECTED IN THE STATE THAT IS DIVERTED TO MUNICIPALITIES WITHIN THE STATE; TO PROVIDE THAT FIVE PERCENT OF THE TOTAL SALES TAX REVENUE COLLECTED OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPALITIES IN A COUNTY SHALL BE DIVERTED AND PAID TO THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
