Title: AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON WHO APPLIES FOR OR SEEKS TO OBTAIN STATE-FUNDED SOCIAL SERVICES MUST BE A CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OR OTHERWISE BE LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO BE IN THE UNITED STATES BEFORE THE PERSON WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE SERVICES; TO PROVIDE AN EXCEPTION FOR PERSONS WHO ARE IN LIFE-THREATENING SITUATIONS; TO AMEND SECTIONS 43-13-115 AND 43-17-1, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
