Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 71-3-71, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE THAT FOR AMOUNTS RECOVERED FROM ACTIONS AGAINST A THIRD PARTY FOR DAMAGES BY REASON OF AN INJURY UNDER THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW, THE ATTORNEY'S FEE AND OTHER COSTS OF COLLECTION SHALL BE DEDUCTED IN PROPORTIONATE SHARES FROM THAT SUBMITTED TO THE WORKERS' COMPENSATION CARRIER AND THE INJURED EMPLOYEE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
