Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-11-106, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO ALLOW PERSONS WHO WERE HOLDING THE OFFICE OF CONSTABLE ON JULY 1, 2005, FOR WHOM APPROPRIATE EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS AND INTEREST ON ALL FEE AND COUNTY INCOME FROM COVERED SERVICE HAVE NOT BEEN MADE TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM, TO MAKE ALL OF THE REQUIRED PAYMENTS AT ANY TIME BEFORE THE PERSON LEAVES THE OFFICE OF CONSTABLE, OR IRREVOCABLY ELECT NOT TO MAKE THE REQUIRED PAYMENTS AND FORFEIT THE SERVICE CREDIT FOR THOSE PAYMENTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
