Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 63-1-46, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO INCREASE THE FEE FOR REINSTATEMENT OF A DRIVER'S LICENSE SUSPENDED OR REVOKED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE MISSISSIPPI IMPLIED CONSENT LAW OR AS A RESULT OF A CONVICTION OF A VIOLATION OF THE UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES LAW; TO PROVIDE THAT MONIES COLLECTED FROM THE INCREASED FEE SHALL BE DEPOSITED INTO A SPECIAL FUND IN THE STATE TREASURY AND MAY BE EXPENDED ONLY TO PROVIDE SALARY INCREASES FOR MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY SAFETY PATROL OFFICERS AND EXPENSES RELATED TO TRAINING OF NEW RECRUITS OF THE MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY SAFETY PATROL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
