Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 63-11-30, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON CONVICTED FOR A THIRD OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE OF DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE SHALL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A DISTINCTIVE LICENSE TAG WHICH CLEARLY IDENTIFIES SUCH PERSON TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND SHALL BE REQUIRED TO DISPLAY SUCH TAG FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS ON EACH MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTERED IN HIS NAME; TO CREATE A NEW CODE SECTION TO BE CODIFIED AS SECTION 27-19-56.106, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE TAX COMMISSION SHALL DESIGN AND ISSUE THROUGH THE COUNTY TAX COLLECTORS THE DISTINCTIVE TAGS REQUIRED BY THIS ACT, AND TO PRESCRIBE THE MANNER AND PROCEDURE BY WHICH SUCH TAGS SHALL BE ISSUED; TO AMEND SECTION 27-19-44, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
