Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-15-15, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO AUTHORIZE THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO PAY FOR 100% OF THE COST OF A BASIC LEVEL OF HEALTH INSURANCE FOR STATE AND SCHOOL EMPLOYEES; TO AUTHORIZE SUCH EMPLOYEES TO PAY ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OR LEVELS OF COVERAGE; TO DELETE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PREMIUM SURCHARGE WHICH MAY BE IMPOSED UPON CERTAIN PARTICIPATING RETIREES IF THE OVERALL COST OF THE PLAN TO THE STATE IS ADVERSELY AFFECTED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
