Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 9-3-11, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2004, THE POSITION OF CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT SHALL BE ROTATED AMONG THE SENIOR JUDGES OF EACH SUPREME COURT DISTRICT; TO PROVIDE THAT A SENIOR JUDGE SHALL HOLD THE POSITION FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE THE POSITION IS ROTATED TO THE SENIOR JUDGE OF ANOTHER DISTRICT; TO PROVIDE THE ORDER IN WHICH THE POSITION SHALL BE ROTATED; TO PROVIDE THAT THE SENIOR JUDGES FROM THE SUPREME COURT DISTRICTS WHO ARE NOT SERVING AS CHIEF JUSTICE SHALL BE PRESIDING JUSTICES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
