Title: AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE MISSISSIPPI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY SHALL NOT ADMINISTER LOANS OR GRANTS OF FEDERAL OR STATE FUNDS FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME TO POULTRY PROCESSORS WHO HAVE BEEN CITED BY THE IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION SERVICE AS KNOWINGLY HAVING EMPLOYED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS; TO AMEND SECTION 57-61-14, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REMOVE THE SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN COMPANIES IN VIOLATION OF THE FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS; TO AMEND SECTIONS 57-61-9 AND 57-61-11, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN PRIVATE COMPANIES THAT ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS SHALL PAY A PENALTY ON THE REMAINING PORTION OF THEIR LOANS UNDER THE MISSISSIPPI BUSINESS INVESTMENT ACT; TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-111, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY THERETO; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
