Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 25-11-103, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT ANY STATE EMPLOYEE WHO RETIRES UNDER THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM WITH UNUSED PERSONAL LEAVE IN EXCESS OF 30 DAYS SHALL HAVE HIS OR HER AVERAGE COMPENSATION INCREASED BY THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION THAT THE MEMBER WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID FOR THE NUMBER OF PERSONAL LEAVE DAYS IN EXCESS OF 30 DAYS IF THE MEMBER HAD USED THOSE PERSONAL LEAVE DAYS BEFORE RETIREMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
