Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-13-117, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT A VISIT TO A PHYSICIAN SHALL NOT COUNT AGAINST THE MAXIMUM ANNUAL NUMBER OF PHYSICIAN VISITS UNDER MEDICAID IF THE VISIT IS MADE BY A PATIENT WHO HAS SCHIZOPHRENIA, WHO TAKES A CERTAIN PRESCRIPTION DRUG, AND WHO IS VISITING THE PHYSICIAN TO OBTAIN A BLOOD TEST THAT IS REQUIRED BEFORE A PHARMACIST MAY DISPENSE THAT DRUG TO THE PATIENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
