Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-19-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SHALL PAY FRINGE BENEFITS ON THE SALARY SUPPLEMENTS AWARDED TO MASTER TEACHERS WHO OBTAIN NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATION, AND TO AUTHORIZE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS OR ANY PRIVATE ENTITY TO PAY THE PROCESS COST FOR ACQUIRING SUCH NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATION WHICH SHALL BE REIMBURSED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION REGARDLESS OF THE SUCCESS OF THE APPLICANT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
