Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 63-1-71, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT EVERY PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE WHO IS CONVICTED OF ANY MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATION SHALL FORFEIT HIS DRIVER'S LICENSE AND DRIVING PRIVILEGES FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR OR UNTIL HE OR SHE REACHES EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE, WHICHEVER PERIOD OF TIME IS GREATER; TO PROVIDE THAT SUCH SUSPENSION SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER FINES, PENALTIES OR DRIVING PRIVILEGE SUSPENSIONS IMPOSED BY LAW; TO AMEND SECTION 63-1-53, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, IN CONFORMITY TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; TO AMEND SECTION 63-1-55, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT THE AUTHORITY OF A TRIAL JUDGE TO SUSPEND THE LICENSE OF A MINOR IN LIEU OF CONVICTION FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION SHALL NOT BE APPLICABLE TO A PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE WHO IS CONVICTED OF A MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATION; TO AMEND SECTION 63-11-30, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE WHO IS CONVICTED FOR A VIOLATION OF THE MISSISSIPPI IMPLIED CONSENT LAW SHALL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY REDUCTION IN THE PERIOD OF SUSPENSION OF HIS OR HER DRIVER'S LICENSE OR DRIVING PRIVILEGES AND TO PROVIDE THAT SUCH SUSPENSION SHALL RUN CONSECUTIVELY WITH ANY OTHER SUSPENSION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
