Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-7-333, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT IN THE EVENT ANY MEMBER OF THE LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD HAS A DIRECT OR INDIRECT CONFLICT OF INTEREST REGARDING A DECISION OF THE BOARD REGARDING THE SELECTION OF A DEPOSITORY, THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS SHALL DESIGNATE THE STATE TREASURER TO MAKE ALL DECISIONS AND TAKE ANY ACTION WITHIN THE AUTHORITY OF THE SCHOOL BOARD RELATING TO SAID SELECTION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
