Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 41-4-7, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE OF CASE MANAGERS AND MENTAL HEALTH/RETARDATION THERAPISTS BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH SHALL BE FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE NOT ALREADY PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED; TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEPARTMENT SHALL NOT USE PROFESSIONAL TITLES IN ITS CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE PROCESS FOR WHICH THERE IS AN INDEPENDENT LICENSING PROCEDURE; TO PROVIDE THAT SUCH CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE SHALL BE VALID ONLY IN THE STATE MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM AND SHALL NOT BE TRANSFERABLE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
