Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-61-33, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO USE A PORTION OF THE EDUCATION ENHANCEMENT FUND MONEYS ALLOCATED FOR THE FUNDING OF TEXTBOOKS TO PURCHASE TEXTBOOKS TO BE LOANED TO CERTAIN APPROVED NONPUBLIC SCHOOLS, TO CLARIFY THE PROCEDURE FOR THE ALLOCATION OF EDUCATION ENHANCEMENT FUNDS FOR CLASSROOM SUPPLY AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL USES, TO DEFINE THE TERM "TEACHER" FOR PURPOSES OF THE ALLOCATION OF SUCH FUNDS, AND TO REQUIRE THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO PROMULGATE REGULATIONS FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CLASSROOM SUPPLY FUND PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
