AMENDMENT NO 5 PROPOSED TO

AMEND by inserting the following new subsection (14) after line 1805:

          (14)  There is established in the State Treasury a special fund for the purpose of providing funding to assist in transportation funding for those students awarded a portability scholarship.  The State Department of Education shall administer the special fund and shall implement rules and regulations establishing criteria for awarding grants from the fund established pursuant to this subsection.
