     AMEND on line 10, delete the words "BRING FORWARD" and replace with "AMEND".

     AMEND on lines 10-11, delete the words "FOR THE PURPOSE OF POSSIBLE AMENDMENT" and replace with "TO ALLOW MEMA TO OBTAIN A LINE OF CREDIT THROUGH THE STATE TREASURY FROM THE WORKING CASH-STABILIZATION FUND OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL SOURCES FUND IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000,000.00 IN ONE FISCAL YEAR TO FUND SHORTFALLS; TO PROVIDE THAT THE LOANS SHALL BE RECEIVED BY THE STATE TREASURER AND PLACED INTO THE DISASTER TRUST FUND ACCOUNT; TO REQUIRE THAT LOAN FUNDS SHALL BE EXPENDED FOLLOWING THE STATE MATCH REQUIRED BY FEMA FOR OTHER NEEDS ASSISTANCE AWARDS DURING FEDERALLY DECLARED DISASTERS"

     AMEND on line 426, delete the words "brought forward" and replace with "amended"

     AMEND by inserting the following after line 579:

(7)  The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is authorized to obtain a line of credit through the State Treasury from the Working Cash-Stabilization Fund or any other special-source funds maintained in the State Treasury in an amount not exceeding Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) in one (1) fiscal year to fund shortfalls which, from time to time, may occur due to decreases in state match funding cash flow.  Loan proceeds shall be received by the State Treasurer and shall be placed in the Disaster Trust Fund account.  Loan funds shall be expended following the state match required by FEMA for Other Needs Assistance awarded during federally declared disasters.

     FURTHER, AMEND by placing the following before the period on line 581:

, and shall stand repealed on June 30, 2025
