AMENDMENT NO 3 PROPOSED TO

AMEND by inserting the following below line 53 and renumbering subsequent subsection(s) and internal references accordingly:

(2)  (a)  The Joint Committee on Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review (PEER) shall annually audit the records of each participating eligible charitable organization, as defined in subsection (1)(b)(ii) of this section, to determine the number of qualifying children in each category enrolled, and how funds derived through participation in this section were expended.  PEER shall annually report the findings of the audit to the Legislature no later than November 1.

     FURTHER, AMEND the title to conform.
