AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Cmte Sub for House Bill No. 1197

     AMEND after line 83 by inserting the following new section and renumbering the succeeding sections:

     "SECTION 6. "The provisions of the act shall be legal and binding in every county and municipality unless a county or municipality opts out of this act through a vote by the board of supervisors of the county or the governing authority of the municipality, as applicable, within six (6) months after the effective date of this act."
